Technology Modernization
We examine how leaders use technology to improve government performance, outline strategies to more effectively recruit and hire qualified technical experts, and highlight agency success stories and challenges in the development of new digital tools and services.
We also offer several training, fellowship and internship programs to help federal leaders and agencies use technology to better serve the public.

The Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Talent Initiative places students and recent graduates in cybersecurity- or artificial intelligence-related positions at a federal agency for two years. Before the end of their service, participants are invited to apply for full-time positions with the program’s private sector partners. Professional development, a mentorship program and technical training is also offered.
The Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program places students across majors in paid internships at different federal agencies. Since 2022, more than 400 interns have served across government in agencies ranging from the Small Business Administration to the departments of Commerce, Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development.
The Leadership Excellence for Acquisition Professionals Program prepares GS-12 to GS-14 federal employees in acquisitions to become better leaders by focusing on the core tenets of the Partnership’s Public Service Leadership Model. Participants learn to make values-based decisions, use their roles to build strong partnerships and identify how to drive positive impact within their agencies.
